Been a while since my last post. God is at work in Huntington, WV healing, delivering, and pouring out His Spirit.

31 December 2009
Happy Birthday, To Me!
On December 31, 1979 I was born again and became a member of the family and body of Christ in accordance to the words and teaching of Jesus Christ and His Apostles when I received the Holy Ghost.
It was on that day that I was born of the Spirit (having been born of water two months prior) and thus received the earnest of my inheritance as a son of God.
For 30 years, 3 decades, I've been blessed to have this relationship with Jesus. I've had ups and downs. I've rested in the valley and fought the mountain. There've been times I've made mistakes (and sinned), but God has been good and forgiving. I've been (and remain) a student of grace as I look for the blessed hope and coming of Jesus Christ.
I try to remain busy about the Father's work and ministry, and am humbled by His constant willingness to use me for His purpose.
I'm also thankful...thankful, for His love towards me.
I also want to thank two people who played an important role in my conversion (see the picture above). First of all, my father (Melvin E. Kuntzman), who was my pastor 30 years ago and preached the great truth of the mighty God in Christ and the message of Acts 2 and John 3 to me. He's always been an example of a man of God who loves God and remains an example to me today.
Secondly, my mother (LouAnne Kuntzman), she was my Sunday School teacher all those years ago and she continues to teach me, by her words, love, and actions, what it truly means to be a Christian.
Thank you, Jesus, Mom, & Dad...I love you.
Happy New Year!

Water Baptized
It's the way the Apostles were taught by our Lord Jesus Christ, the only way they taught others, and the only way we can be converted today.

Voices
Travelling through this great thing we call the web and Internet the other day I was reminded of the importance of voices and how much we miss them when they are gone. Memories remain, but that voice in the present of wisdom, warmth, and compassion is longed for in times of need.
My grandfather has been dead for nearly 20 years and I still miss the rich sound of his baritone as he told a story, preached, sang the songs of Zion, or laughed richly.
Then there are the other voices, like this one: I Asked the Lord, which remind me of so many things pertaining to my spiritual growth and maturity.
1 Cor. 14:10, "There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification."
Voices are not silent. Simple, but true. Voices speak into our lives. For many, the voice of the sportcaster on the radio, or on ESPN, speak into their lives. Others allow voices of entertainment to discolor and reshape God's gifts to humanity into perversions of truth. A majority of people allow voices of gossip, backbiting, lying, talebearing, ditch-digging, and evil reporting to find purchase in their ear and they reap their reward for failing to discern the voices in their lives.
So, listen...strive for sensitive hearing...to the voice of God and His messengers. His voice is always speaking.
Remember the words of Jesus, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand" (Jn. 10:27-28).

The 2009 Original Mantle Conference
On November 5-6, 2009, The Original Mantle Conference will be coming to Huntington, WV at Apostolic Life Cathedral.
The first Mantle conference was held in 1998 (maybe 1997) in Kokomo, IN at Zion Tabernacle, and was founded by Pastor N.P. Urshan and Rev. Joel Urshan.
Mantle is a two night and one day ministry enhancing conference where you will be renewed and encouraged. Since its inception in 1998, this conference has provided a setting where pretense, position, and organizations are set aside for the pursuit of the very presence of God.
Speakers this year include:
Bishop Norman Wagner (Youngstown, OH)
Pastor Joel Urshan (Cincinnati, OH)
Pastor Mike Anderson (Houston, TX)
...and others.
Mantle was born out of a desire to bridge the gap between our Apostolic heritage and our future. We do this by placing seasoned preachers and pastors together with young ministers of the Gospel in an atmosphere of anointed worship, preaching, and ministry.
It is our desire that relationships will be developed between the elder ministers and the younger ministers, like Elijah and Elisha.
We want to see the Apostolic Movement, as a whole, continue forward with the same commitment to Christ and the Gospel as our forefathers had - Mantle works to aid in this endeavor.

Genesis! Grace Youth Reunion Choir Concert
I enjoy this song...makes me want to shout...especially the first 3 minutes. I just wish the sound was better.
Genesis 1:1-31 (KJV)
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing F7 seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, F8 I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
